LOVE
The human value of Love may be best expressed as an energy permeating all life. That is, it is not an emotion or passionate feeling of desire and attachment. It refers to something much deeper, and more basic to human nature. It is totally unselfish and independent of whether there is reciprocity.
Spiritual love has to be distinguished from love or attachment related to the body, the mind or the intellect. The latter are related to the world and are a source of sorrow. True love is pure, selfless, free from ego and is full of bliss. Worldly attachments are not real love at all. They are transient, whereas the everlasting, pure love arises from the heart.
Love is underlying all the Human Values.
Love as thought is Truth,
Love as action is Right Conduct,
Love as feeling is Peace,
Love as understanding is Non-Violence.
Love is an energy, not an emotion.
Love is the mental attitude through which, one wishes that the beings which surround us can be happy, it is a decision conscious of the will to go towards the others, it is to be given to the others.
