Qu'ils reposent en Paix ....

L'Homme qui plantait des arbres est une nouvelle de Jean Giono pour « aimer à planter des arbres » selon les termes de l'auteur.
Il y raconte la vie d'un homme en Provence, qui redonne vie à une terre aride en y semant des glands de chêne.
L'auteur a volontairement mis le texte dans le domaine public à sa création, et a été traduit dans de nombreuses langues.
Cela a inspiré plusieurs replantations de forêt, notamment, en Provence (France), et au Canada.
Jean Giono, écrivain et cinéaste, a grandi en Provence, et en décrit les différentes facettes dont la population, les paysages et la vie. Son rapport avec l'environnement, son passé, sa participation en tant qu'appellé durant la Première Guerre mondiale, ainsi que l'exode rural dont il a été témoin dans la Provence, l'on conduit à cette œuvre, et à d'autres œuvres humanistes et écologistes.

Adapté en film d'animation par Frédéric Back, texte narré par Philippe Noiret, pour Radio-Canada. Ce film reçu de nombreux prix, notamment l'Oscar 1987 du meilleur film d'animation.

Un livre illustré par Frédéric Back, où l'on retrouve les peintures de son film, a également été édité par Gallimard Lacombe pour Les Entreprises Radio-Canada.
Il existe également un double DVD contenant des entretiens avec Jean Giono, Frédéric Back.

Frédéric Back, inspiré par ce film, a replanté une forêt au Canada, qu'il a dédié à Jean Giono.

Not to confuse anticipation and preparation:

To anticipate:

it is to think of something which will arrive and imagine the details of the event without to prepare there. The fact of anticipating does not lead us to the action (otherwise it would be preparation and not of anticipation) but plunges us in a kind of daydream from which nothing actually changes, and which then produces only frustration and pain. Nobody lives in the castles in Spain.

To prepare:

it is to lay down an objective; it is to think of the various possibilities.

 Our parents gave us the day and raised us, educated, looked after by overcoming many tests. Let us can recognize beyond sometimes their errors or of their imperfection, all their love and their devotion. For all that let us make them happy, take guard to wound them, are grateful, like them with respect and dare theirs to say (the words are important).

Our parents are happy to render service to us; they need to feel useful and to be surrounded. If it is difficult for you to visit them often telephone to them.

Hold them with the current of what you ridges, speak to them about your projects, for them it is not curiosity but, especially when their physical possibilities decrease, that gives the impression to them, by your intermediary, to still form part of the working life.

 The winter ends, the nature wakes up with the arrival of spring. As it delight your mind, realize your true reality and agree to ask the real questions:

Who am I? Where I come from? Where am I going?

   It is at the mother's lap that the child learns the art of living; so also it is Nature that teaches man how to succeed in the hard struggle and win supreme peace. Break the laws of Nature and she boxes you in the ear; obey her commands and listen to Her warnings and She will pass on to you your heritage of immortality. That is to say, have the Lord as your Guide and Guardian and adhere to the rules of righetousness. Let the dull-witted man hug his delusion that happiness and peace can be secured through slavery to the senses. Those who know that the world is a mixture of truth and falsehood, and therefore a big conundrum or false, will leave off the outer attractions and concentrate on the inner joy of attachment to God.  

The month of March grand’mothers are in the spotlight. In memory of grand’mothers of grand’mothers present we offer them this story.

Do you remember your grandmother's apron?

The main usage of Grand'Mère's apron was to protect the dress underneath, but in addition to that, it served as a mit to withdraw food from burning stove, and it was wonderful to wipe the tears of children, and on some occasions to clean dirty little faces.

From the henhouse, the apron was used for carrying eggs, chicks to resuscitate, and sometimes cracked eggs which ended in the stove.

When visitors arrived, the apron was a shelter for shy children , and when the weather was cool, Grand'Mère would stuff her arms in it.

The good old apron would serve as bellows to kick up flames in a wood fire. It carried potatoes and dry wood into the kitchen.

From the garden, it served as a basket for many vegetables.
After the peas had been harvested to gather a few cabbages.
At the end of the season it picked apples fallen from the tree.

When visitors arrive unexpectedly, it was surprising to see how quickly that old apron could dust.

To serve the meal, Grandmother went on the porch waving her apron, and men in the field knew immediately that they had to sit down to eat.
Grandmother also used to put the apple pie just out of the oven on the windowsill to cool it, whereas nowadays, her little girl puts it there to defrost.

It will take many years before someone invents an object that might replace this old apron used for so many things.

On this holy month of December where the energy of Love intensifies realize that all is ONE

 Morality and integrity, righteousness and charity, truth and tradition, forbearance and non-violence are basic tenets of all religions.

These basic truths are common to all religions. But over the years men have forgotten these truths and have fostered divisive tendencies in the place of unity. As a result, respect for human values has gone.

It is essential to recognise the Divine unity that suffuses all the diversity in human existence.

Men today celebrate the birthdays of great holy men but they do not follow the teachings of the masters. There is nothing great about the celebration of birthdays. People must resolve to uphold.

The essence of all creeds is one and the same thing. Man's primary duty is to surrender to God. "Surrender" means attaining the state in which the devotee feels he is one with God.

This feeling arises out of the conviction that the same divinity is present in all. Bodies of human beings are varied like bulbs, but the current passing through them is the same. The colour of the bulbs or their wattage may vary. But the current activating them is the same.

All forms of knowledge, the one that is most beneficial is practical knowledge which is relevant to everyone.

You have to act on the conviction that

the same Divine Spirit dwells in one and all.

Comment participer à l’amélioration du monde ?

La lumineuse énergie d’Amour imprègne tout l’univers. Pour bénéficier de son action, il faut simplement que nous acceptions de faire l’effort de nous en servir, par exemple avec l’aide de la respiration en trois temps égaux :

1) Inspiration : Sentez l’énergie d’Amour pénétrer dans vos poumons et se répandre dans tout votre corps.

2) Pause : Réalisez que cette énergie d’Amour transforme progressivement vos peurs, vos frustrations, vos faiblesses, vos souffrances de toutes sortes, en sérénité, paix, bonheur, force. Peu à peu toutes vos zones d’ombres disparaissent et vous aussi devenez pure lumière d’Amour.

3) Expiration : Vous laissez rayonner autour de vous cette Lumière d’Amour afin qu’elle illumine vos parents, votre famille, vos amis et même vos ennemis, tous ceux qui vous entourent, qui souffrent, qui se sentent seuls, qui sont dans la haine…

De cette façon, progressivement, le monde deviendra Lumière d’Amour .

Ainsi vous aurez participé, silencieusement, à l’amélioration du monde.

En conclusion :

1) Vous inspirez la Lumière d’Amour

2) Vous devenez la Lumière d’Amour

3) A l’expiration vous vous sentez devenir Un, avec le monde qui se transforme et devient Lumière d’Amour.

Vous pouvez programmer que ceci va se faire automatiquement, tout au long de votre journée,à chaque respiration.

C'est une façon de mettre en application les Valeurs Humaines:  Universal Love
